About Mrs. Albertson
This is my eleventh year teaching Middle School and my eighth year teaching Language Arts. Previously, I have been with Pickens County Schools for six years, but I have experience teaching in two states, four counties, and PJHS is my sixth school. My husband and I, with our son Lincoln, have made Jasper our home for the last seven years. Nothing gives me greater pleasure than the opportunity to invest in our community by working with the students that live here.
I am certified to teach Science as well as Language Arts, but Language Arts is my passion. I am also certified to teach English at the high school level. I earned my undergraduate degree in Middle Grades Education at the University of NC at Greensboro, and I also earned my Masters of Fine Arts in Creative Writing through Ashland University in Ohio.
